Where We Come From

SBT Executive was founded in Executive Search, at the heart of industries where visibility, pressure and human dynamics directly shape performance.

Early on, we recognised that appointing the right leader is rarely enough if the ecosystem around them is not aligned. This insight led us to evolve into a leadership-focused boutique consultancy, centred on people and a holistic understanding of organisations.


A Collective Built on Experience

We have brought together an international collective of experts selected for the breadth of their experience and their ability to operate where leadership and people challenges are most critical.

Around 80% come from Sport, Entertainment and other passion-driven industries, bringing deep sector knowledge and first-hand operational experience. The remaining 20% come from adjacent sectors, contributing fresh perspectives and proven practices.

This deliberate mix enables us to understand situations with precision and deliver solutions that strengthen the effectiveness of leaders, teams and organisations over the long term.

Who We Are

Founded in 2012, SBT Executive began as a specialist executive search firm focused on Sport and the identification of senior leaders and critical talent.

Over time, one belief became increasingly clear: appointing the right people is only part of the equation. Lasting performance is driven by leadership, people and the quality of their interactions.

Over time, our focus expanded to leadership, governance and team effectiveness, combining Executive Search and Leadership Advisory.within a single integrated approach.

We have built an international collective of senior experts, with 80% coming from Sport, Entertainment and Leisure, and 20% from other industries. Our collective includes former executives, experienced executive search professionals, Chief Human Resources Officers, executive coaches and leadership specialists.

This diversity of experience enables us to understand the realities our clients face, address the most sensitive leadership situations and support transformations where the quality of leadership ultimately determines success.
